What it looks like when I introduce people to the fandom or tell them I write smutty gay fanfiction!
(actually I am extremely lucky because my partner is one of my biggest fans, sitting all nights rereading my smut with twinkling eyes...)
I wonder how many of us keep quiet about having these sorts of hobbies just to not get condemned by friends, family, even loved ones, and society?

ReplyDeleteTo be honest I don't hide my love for boyxboy but I also don't go telling people that I'm into it. My family knows. They think it is a bit strange but I've never felt uncomfortable talking about some gay pairing with them. Now with my friends is a completely different story. None of them are into it, I've tried to bring up how the bromance phenomenon is so popular these days but they were just like whatever lol
I wish I could know more people who likes boyxboy love IRL. You are really lucky to have a partner who enjoys the amazing gay smut world with you.
Yes, so true...I really miss having physical friends who you can meet up with adn just have fun with this - seems we are all confined to the internet...and yes, I am hyperlucky having my partner...doesn't complain even once about my BL obsession...

HAHA my mum know I like boy love but she doesn't know I reaad gay smut or anything I don't bring it up so much because my parents are kind of religious so yeah they don't judge gays or anything they just don't like the act so much lol I honestly don't care that is just there opinion I have mine and I happen to like boyxboy love so yeah (hope I haven't offended any of you especially you ta-meaut?) but this is just me hehe I am pretty much confined to the internet all the time hehe

Deletebut it is true that it is a subject that is veyr controversial with many people and just because you and me sit here in the fandom feeling all openminded doesn't mean that all others around us does.
