WOW this is beautiful honestly I always am amazed and just can't understand how you right such beautiful words,,, can you please tell me the meaning if you don't mind me knowing?
Hi cutie, no problems...actually this one is simple...I had a lot of moths in my room and for a second I imagined them all flying across a candle, catching fire and flying around in my room - on fire...(in between macabre and beautiful...)
Oooo. This one was actually challenging my failed little neurones. I now see your inspiration, thanks Maria for asking and Ta-Meaut for answering!
The moths lay quiet but may burn themselves to the bright candle, so switching off the lights and being in the dark is preferable than disturbing their peace.
I can think of at least three interpretations interweaving themselves from this beautiful theme: the naturalistic one (wysiwyg), the will of living and fascination for death, and... war... or actually all three at the same time!
Cramming all these meanings in one such short epigram is... baffling me. :D
Really guys, I think you are all crediting me to much somtimes...I am not so deep as you think :P but I really like the way you can find three meanings in this poem...I am also learning all the time from you!
