Poem "deadpan"

at every NO, but yes
at every NEVER, but ok

I gently dig my nails into the soft tissue
and peel another strip away.

Until my skinned soul is bleeding all over the floor.

    1. It is about complying more with other peoples wishes than your own wishes - for every time you do something you don't want to you remove another piece of your soul.

  2. ahhhhh thank you,,, sorry for taking so long to reply I know this has nothing to do with the poem but for some reason complying reminds me of a world or a place governed by a dictator you have to follow the rules with out freedom of speech even if you tried to explain your views you'd get your head chopped off doing what others want or something like putting what you want and your feelings aside and put people into consideration before yourselve (my opinion anyway)

    1. hmm, thats intersting..for me the word "comply" gives me visions of bowed heads, soft moans and sweat on red silk sheets...but I guess we all have different associations...mine are just more...smutty...
